Our Menus

Relish the belly-warming, flavour-packed goodness of our autumn menu (crafted with love and packed with the best of the season). Featuring freshly picked ingredients from the abundant, ever-giving British Isles, our menu is all about hearty-yet-hugely satisfying dishes – perfect for those crisp, sweater-wearing days.

At the heart of it all is our much-loved Sunday roasts, a comfort-food classic (slow-cooked, melt-in-the-mouth magic, if we do say so ourselves). These crowd-pleasers are loaded with tender, locally sourced meats and just-picked seasonal veg (because who can resist roasties and gravy?), each bite is pure comfort.

We’re all about supporting British farmers and producers (the real legends behind your plate). Every dish tells the story of their ethically sourced, lovingly nurtured ingredients, bringing the rich, earthy flavours of the season straight to your fork – because good food starts with great people.

Our dream-about-them-after Sunday roasts

Close out your week the right way with a Sunday at ours: it’s time for a well-deserved treat for you and a hearty feast from us. Our Sunday roasts boast tender, melt-in-your-mouth succulent meats, towering double egg Yorkies (the kind that deserve a standing ovation), and generous sides with plentiful proper pub gravy (because you can never have too much). To top it all off, why not indulge in a delightful pudding that’s a hug-in-a-bowl, perfectly paired with one of our richly-roasted Espresso Martini’s, all best enjoyed right next to our crackling-roaring fire.

Proof is in the pudding

I booked for four of us to eat lunch at this lovely old pub on the river…. such a perfect setting. We arrived by train, at Barnes Bridge station, only a very short walk away. The pub is old and has lovely decor …. a great ambiance. The menu is good and the food was amazing. We all really enjoyed our starters and mains…. we didn’t order dessert as didn’t ’have any room left’ ? The service was great… very attentive and pleasant staff. We loved that a waiter we asked to take a photo of the four of us, suddenly took an impromptu selfie …a lovely guy. ?. We look forward to eating here again, especially in the hot weather, to sit out on their lovely verandas overlooking the Thames.

This is our local for years but a new team has taken over and really upped the quality of the experience. We were there tonight with friends and our new puppy. The pub was heaving but my glass never got empty before another was presented. The food is great…people friendly and staff amazing. If you are looking for a pub on the river and in the area…it is a must.

Such a wonderful place! We had a beautiful evening here this week, great food, very kind and attentive staff. As a bonus, you can rely on watching a magnificent sunset from your seat. We are local, so we are biased, but even if I won the lottery, I would want to bring my family here for the evening. Thank you!
